Once you have decided to enjoy bookkeeping freedom, Self
Storage Bookkeeping Services makes the transition as smooth as possible. We
provide you with a 'new client worksheet' that helps you summarize all of
your bookkeeping information.
As soon as we have all the necessary information and
authorization to assist in your bookkeeping tasks, we go to work fast to
ensure nothing falls through the gaps.
Since every storage business, along with their owner, is
different, the way we perform our services will vary. While some clients
want to approve every bill that comes in and every check that goes out, some
clients are happy as long as their power isn't turned off and their
employees aren't striking.
We provide your managers with 'sale report forms' which are
easily filled out and sent to us each week. This allows us to report your
revenue from the various sources (i.e. storage rentals, truck rentals, late
fees).
At the end of every month, you will receive a package which
contains your business's financial statements, various reports requested and
originals of all transactions for your records. Self Storage Bookkeeping
Services retains a copy of the originals incase we need to dispute any errors
with vendors.
At year's end, we compile all revenue and expenses and
present it to your tax preparer in a way that saves them time, and more
importantly, you money. The less amount of time it takes to prepare your
taxes, the less it will cost, especially at the rates they charge.
